We believe that supporting a more equitable world is not only the right thing to do, it is also the right thing to do for our business. Globally, PepsiCo strives to be an advocate for underserved communities and to create access to critical resources that will help them grow and thrive.
To the World:
Through partnerships and collaboration in the communities where we live and work, we strive to make local, leading and lasting impacts that endeavor to address deep-rooted inequity and to help to create awareness around major social issues including food security, safe water access and economic opportunity. The PepsiCo Foundation provides funding, expertise and assistance to communities facing these issues, aiming to help catalyze progress and address challenges.
Approach
Much of PepsiCo’s philanthropic efforts are directed through the PepsiCo Foundation — the company’s philanthropic arm. The PepsiCo Foundation invests in the essential elements of a sustainable food system with a mission to support thriving communities. Working with non-profits and experts around the globe, we're focused on helping communities obtain more equitable access to food security, safe water and economic opportunity.
The PepsiCo Foundation is a key driver of progress against our pep+ (PepsiCo Positive) ambitions. Through strategic partnerships and programs globally, the PepsiCo Foundation seeks to tackle the long-term challenges facing the global food system and do the most good for the most people. We strive for tangible impact in the places where we live and work — collaborating with industry peers and local and international non-profit organizations to effect large-scale change on globally-important issues central to our mission and vision.
In addition, as we work towards the Positive Value Chain pillar of our pep+ strategy, we seek to empower our associates with funding and programming from the PepsiCo Foundation to cultivate prosperity in our communities through outreach, donation matching, scholarships and our global workforce volunteering program, One Smile at a Time.

Progress
Philanthropic funding directly supports PepsiCo’s broader pep+ ambitions and also supports employee giving and disaster relief. In 2023, our donations, both local and global, helped us champion causes important to PepsiCo and the communities where we operate.
