To fuel foodies from across the country ahead of the big game, Pepsi has tapped ultimate food lover and self-proclaimed expert in deliciousness, Action Bronson, to highlight New Orleans’ greatest spots recommended by the locals that know it best - from restaurateur Larry Morrow to Willie Mae's Scotch House and We Dat's. Between the Pepsi NOLA Eats Fest and the Pepsi Super Bowl Boil seafood competition, fans will get the chance to try more than 20 dishes from ten NOLA restaurants, paired with their favorite Pepsi products and exclusive crafted beverages - all without ever leaving the riverfront.

Pepsi Super Bowl Boil

THE ULTIMATE SEAFOOD SHOWDOWN AT THE PEPSI SUPER BOWL BOIL
(Friday, February 7, 12-2 PM CT)

The Pepsi Super Bowl Boil, a tailgate-style seafood showdown, invites fans to watch two of the city’s favorite seafood boil restaurants battle for the title of Pepsi Super Bowl Boil Champion. More than a competition, the Pepsi Super Bowl Boil is a celebration of New Orleans’ iconic culinary traditions and culture, bringing people together over great food - that deserves Pepsi.

Starting January 13, fans can visit www.pepsineworleans.com/superbowlboil to vote for their favorite seafood boil spots out of select local restaurants, including Mr. Shrimp’s Kitchen, Peewee’s Crabcakes, Pra_LEES, Dee’s Xquisite Seafood, Melba’s Po Boys, Williams Seafood & Po Boy, Crawlins Seafood, and Dry Dock Café. The two finalists will compete live at the event, presenting their best dishes to a panel of judges, including NFL Legend, Super Bowl LVI Champion and 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year, Andrew Whitworth. Fans can score one of a limited quantity of free tickets to the event via the event website starting January 27. There, attendees will also get to cast their votes for the Super Bowl Boil Champion while enjoying the city’s best seafood paired with Pepsi, local entertainment, and tailgate games.

The winning restaurant will walk away with bragging rights, $10,000 cash and a “free lunch” day for their customers, courtesy of Pepsi. See official rules here.

THE BEST BITES OF NOLA AT THE PEPSI NOLA EATS FEST

Fans can join Action Bronson on-site as he makes his way around the Pepsi NOLA Eats Fest exploring some of the Big Easy’s best bites and Pepsi-inspired crafted cocktails. Ten local restaurants including Boswell’s Jamaican Grill, Joe’s Italian Bistro, Los Jefes, Morrow Hospitality, We Dat’s, Willie Mae’s Scotch House, Jay’s BBQ and more will be serving up some of their most-loved dishes, all in one place, and best enjoyed with an ice-cold Pepsi. With live performances from local talent including Mannie Fresh as well as brass bands, DJs, and more the Pepsi NOLA Eats Fest will be giving revelers more ways to celebrate during Super Bowl LIX weekend.
